Cauldron Ideations

Usage Terms

Gig Finder Local Calendar is a private, owner-operated desktop integration. These usage terms explain the limited intended use of that integration.

Authorized calendar use

Use the desktop integration only with a Google account and calendar that the owner controls or is authorized to use. The integration is not a public booking service, a shared scheduling marketplace, or a way to grant other people access to a calendar.

The owner decides whether to connect Google Calendar and which local actions to approve. A failed or revoked connection requires explicit local reconnection; the software does not silently seek a new authorization grant.

Availability and local booking records

Gig Finder keeps local calendar entries as its booking ledger and treats Google Calendar reads as provider observations. A synchronization result can be incomplete, stale, unavailable, or require review, including for opaque all-day events. The owner should review important scheduling decisions rather than treat a displayed availability result as a guaranteed booking commitment.

Google event projection

Normal read-sync does not create, update, or delete Google Calendar events. The only supported event projection is a separate, explicit local action with an already reviewed preview, an approval reference, and a matching local record version.

The supported projection payload is limited to a title, start time, end time, and disabled default reminders. It does not add attendees, invitations, conferencing data, attachments, recurrence, or custom reminder behavior, and it uses Google’s no-update-notification setting.

Google services

Google Calendar and Google OAuth are services operated by Google. Their applicable terms and policies continue to apply when the owner uses them. Gig Finder Local Calendar does not replace Google’s account, security, or calendar controls.
